- About
Megawatt Financial Services was founded in 2019 with a single purpose: to give working South Africans in Limpopo access to professional, trustworthy debt relief — without having to travel to a big city, pay upfront fees they cannot afford, or deal with companies that treat them as a case number.
We saw too many employed, hard-working people trapped in financial situations they did not fully understand. Garnishee orders they did not know they could challenge. Debt review flags they did not know they could remove. Credit records they did not know they could fix. Knowledge they deserved to have — but had never been given.
Today we have three branches across Limpopo — in Mokopane, Polokwane, and Makhado — and a team of qualified, NCR-registered consultants who have helped hundreds of clients exit debt review, clear their credit records, and take back control of their finance
Why Clients Trust Us
The debt relief industry in South Africa has a problem: there are unregistered and dishonest operators who prey on people in vulnerable situations. Before working with any debt company, you have the right to ask for proof of registration. Here is what sets Megawatt apart:
01.
NCR Registered —
NCRDC3803 / NCRDC4526
We are registered with the National Credit Regulator. Any company offering debt counselling must be NCR registered to do so legally. Our numbers are publicly verifiable on the NCR website — and we display them on every page because we have nothing to hide.
02.
Operating Since 2019
Seven years in this industry is earned, not assumed. Our clients refer their colleagues, family members, and neighbours. That kind of trust comes from results, not advertising.
03.
Three Physical Branches
Three offices across Limpopo means you can walk in, sit across from a real consultant, and have a real conversation. No call centre queues. No chatbots. One consultant who knows your case.
04.
Completely Confidential
We will always tell you what you qualify for, what the process involves, and what a realistic outcome looks like. We do not make promises we cannot keep.
05.
Transparent & Honest
Everything you share with us stays with us. Financial difficulty is a personal matter and we treat it that way — with the dignity and discretion every client deserves.

When you contact Megawatt, you will not be judged, pressured, or made to feel that your situation is unusual. Debt affects millions of employed South Africans — and it does not reflect on your character or your efforts. Our job is to understand your specific situation, give you an honest picture of your options, and support you through every step of the process.
Your first step costs nothing. Your information is confidential. You are under no obligation to proceed until you are ready.
Real People. Real Salaries Restored. Real Lives Changed.
Every person below was once in the same position you might be in right now — working hard, but watching their money disappear before it had a chance to help their family. These are their stories.
"For two years, more than R2,000 was deducted from my salary every month. I assumed it was legal. Megawatt found the order was irregular and had it removed in 8 weeks. I only wish I had called sooner."
S.N., Teacher
I was under debt review for four years. I paid every month, completed the plan, and then the flag was still on my record. My bank declined my home loan application because of it. A colleague who Megawatt had helped sent me the number."

"The Mokopane consultant handled the entire removal process — I barely had to do anything. Six weeks later my credit profile was updated and the flag was gone. I am now in the application process for my first home. I genuinely did not believe that was possible."

N.D., Civil Servant
"I had a judgement from 2019 that I did not even know existed until I was declined for a lease agreement. The sheriff had served papers at an old address. Megawatt found grounds for rescission, handled all the court paperwork, and removed the judgement from my credit profile."

"They also helped with my ITC clearance at the same time. I now have a clean credit record for the first time in years. The team was professional, patient, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. I refer everyone I know."
