Whether you are dealing with a garnishee order, trying to exit debt review, or clearing a bad credit record — Megawatt has the qualified, NCR-registered team to help at our three Limpopo branches.
Garnishee Order Removal
A garnishee order — also called an emoluments attachment order — is a court order that allows a creditor to deduct money directly from your salary, often before you even receive it. Many South Africans accept these deductions without question, not realising they have the legal right to challenge them. The truth is: many garnishee orders in South Africa are unlawful, procedurally irregular, or excessive. We investigate your specific order, determine whether it meets the legal requirements of the Magistrates' Courts Act, and if it does not, we challenge it on your behalf. A successful removal means your full salary is deposited into your account — every single month, from that point forward.
- This service is right for you if: You are an employed person with a monthly salary deduction by a creditor — especially if you did not properly consent, were not served with correct court papers, or the amount feels excessive relative to the original debt.
Debt Review Removal
Debt review was designed to protect people from creditors while they repay debt at an affordable rate. But many South Africans remain under debt review long after their financial situation has improved — simply because no one told them they could exit. If you have completed your repayment plan, settled your debts, or if your financial situation has changed significantly, you may qualify to have the debt review flag legally removed from your credit profile. This is not a loophole — it is your right under the National Credit Act.
- This service is right for you if: You are currently under debt review and want to exit — whether you have completed your plan, your debts are settled, or you believe you no longer qualify as overindebted.
ITC Clearance
Being listed on the credit bureau — commonly known as being 'blacklisted' — can prevent you from renting a home, getting a phone contract, applying for vehicle finance, or even passing an employment background check. ITC clearance removes negative credit listings that are outdated, settled, or incorrectly recorded. Once cleared, your credit profile reflects your current financial reality — and the doors that were closed begin to open.
- This service is right for you if: You have been declined for credit, a home loan, or a vehicle — or you have been told you are blacklisted — and you want to properly repair your credit record.
Judgement Removal
A court judgement against your name tells every lender that a creditor took you to court to recover a debt. It is one of the most serious negative listings on a credit record and can remain for years — even after the underlying debt has been fully settled. We assess whether your judgement meets the legal grounds for rescission, manage the entire court process on your behalf, and have qualifying judgements formally removed from your credit profile.
- This service is right for you if: You have a court judgement on your credit record that is affecting your ability to access credit, rent a property, or pass an employment credit check.
Debt Counselling
If your total monthly debt repayments are more than you can afford, debt counselling provides legal protection while you repay at a reduced, restructured rate. A registered debt counsellor negotiates with all your creditors simultaneously — stopping collection calls, legal threats, and repossession notices while you work through a structured, affordable repayment plan.
- This service is right for you if: You are overindebted — meaning your total monthly debt repayments exceed what you can reasonably afford — and you want legal protection from creditors while you repay at a rate that still allows you to live.
Admin Order Removal
An administration order is a court-supervised debt repayment arrangement that can leave a persistent mark on your credit profile — even after you have repaid every cent you owed. We assist qualifying clients in having administration orders formally rescinded and removed from their credit record.
- This service is right for you if: You are currently under an administration order, or you have completed one and the listing has not yet been removed from your credit record.
